November 4, 2008 Election

Thursday, September 25 2008     First day to request an absentee ballot

Saturdays Sept. 13 - Oct. 4         Bloomington Election Commission and County Clerk's office open, 9 a.m. - 12 noon for voter registration.

Tuesday, October 7                     Last day to register to vote

Wednesday, Oct 8 - October 21     "Grace" period -- if you failed to register to vote, bring two ID with your proper address to the clerk or the election commission's office.  You must vote that day, but your vote will count.

Monday October 13 - October 30     Early voting.  Bring your voter card and you can vote early; times and places will be announced.

Saturday, Nov. 1      Election Commission Office open for absentee voting, 9 a.m. - 12 noon.

Tuesday Nov. 4     Election Day.  Polls open, 6 a.m. - 7 p.m.
